Frocktober 2013 Day 6 - Lazy Sunday

With day two of the killer cold, getting out of bed was an absolute struggle, let alone thinking about what to wear.

So I spent the morning in a mix between yesterday and today's outfit and Mini Me in her purple pyjama onesie. We look like rainbow hobos.

A lazy Sunday start to the Frocktober day
Hubby lounged in bed all day. Okay it was only an hour more than me, but it felt a lot longer. Thank goodness he is taking care of the morning feed while I snuggle back into bed with warm water and honey and the coveted iPad to half write this post.

But the sun is shining, we have an engagement party to go to this afternoon and Fur Child keeps bringing me his toys. Our bed looks like doggy heaven; lots of balls and chew toys hidden under a cloud of tissues. I guess is should get up and get going....

... A few hours here is what I've managed.

Mini Me is rocking the red jeggings (only a baby can get away with wearing jeggings) and a red and navy top. I really like this colour combination and wonder how and whether I should incorporate it into my wardrobe.

Again, who ever gave it to us, please step forward for a big thank you bow.

Mini Me excited and ready for her first engagement party
I'm giving Thursday's planned outfit another go. The bright yellow dress, folded down into a skirt, with a blue singlet and wide belt to hide the join.

Giving this outfit a second chance
Revamping what now feels like every day clothes into fancy clothes is hard. Thankfully, today's and next week's engagement parties are Sunday afternoon affairs so I can dress 'smart casual'. How considerate of them (I'm sure I was the only thing my lovely friends were considering when planning special outings for my outfits).

Mr and Mrs Picnic, thank you.

And thank you to the extremely generous people who have donated so far. Remember this is all to raise money for ovarian cancer research. Pease spread the word and donate at: https://frocktober.everydayhero.com/au/two-chicks-and-a-baby
