Frocktober 2013 Day 11 - Multi-tasking like a.. well a woman

Poor Fur Child. After four and half months, he's realised there is something occupying my time. But he has also realised that while feeding Mini Me I'm powerless to move.

At first this meant jumping onto my lap for cuddles while I was feeding. Great when Mini Me was the size of a 2kg packet of flour. Then it meant barking at me. Never great.

Now it is fetch.

Feeding, playing and thinking about my day. Multi-tasking like only a woman can.

He throws his yellow ball around to entertain himself. Then drops it for me to throw. Then chases it around. Then drops it for me to throw. It goes on and on for my amusement. Especially when it bounces in the nappy box and he rummages around for it like a pig that's found a truffle.

While this is happening, I'm ordering Hubby around, feeding Mini Me, thinking about the day ahead and now planning my outfit for the day.

Today Mini Me and I are catching up for coffee with Mrs Picnic, dinner with Hubby's family and back into the city for another lunch. This time to discuss work war tactics with one of my team members (more multi-tasking). Yes, I am still dipping my pinky toe into work things while on mat leave. I just love my job that much. But that's something to discuss another day.

Mini Me is going tribal. She's making these animal sounds, kind of like meows, because of her sore gums and slight fever. I figure she should look the part too.

Wild thing
It comes with a head-band, but they're not for me. Plus with that much hair, how could you not think she's a girl?

Me? I've gone vintage casual - black t-shirt dress tucked into my pleated polka dot skirt.

Love a vintage find
I found this skirt at a vintage shop and love it. Normally I go all vintage with old jackets, brooches, etc, but too many accessories are toys to grab and yank. But I have done it a little with my hair today and might where be red Mary Jane shoes.

Now off to look fabulous and multi-task some more.
