Frocktober 2013 Day 23 - Ahoy Sailor, it's another date

Today is our three-year wedding anniversary.

With Hubby's new job, spring fever and Mini Me's social calendar finding time for this month's 'year of dates' is tougher than expected. That's why I gave Hubby two options this month for our date... you'll have to read on to find out.

In the meantime... We're loving costumes this week, and today she's a little sailor.

Trying to find something sexy, classy and grown up out of my outfits is the toughest challenge. Wearing the same dresses all the time has rubbed that specialness shine off them.

So I went all trusty with the mutli-coloured dress, chucked on some pearls, skyscraper heels (okay they're more apartment height, but after not wearing heels for months, this is a dizzying height), made an effort with my hair and make-up, belted and jacketed the outfit to complete it.

It goes alright. Mini Me is asleep so I can't take my normal photo in her room.

So where am I going all frocked up? Well to The Terrace Hotel for a scrummy meal. We did have an option to go whale watching, and it would've ticked another thing off my 101 in 1001, but sadly we just don't have a weekend spare.

So it is only fitting our date this month is in honour of our wedding anniversary.

Okay I better get going to enjoy some champagne and leave Mini Me with her Nonna. Cheerio.
