Frocktober 2013 - Our third teammate

So far I've documented Mini Me and my Frocktober exploits.

But there is a third person in our team. She may be silent in this record of our frocking, but it would be the only place in the world that she is quiet.

Introducing Sister S.

Styling Sister S
People think I'm loud, until they meet Sister S.

She's the centre of attention, I'll give anything a go, pay attention to me person you can't ignore and generally don't want to. She's a proper Leo, and even by her own admission, she's me, me, me.

But she's also a generous person who will open her home if you need to go somewhere. And now she's helping us raise money for ovarian cancer and for good reason.

Her gorgeous partner, Brother S, lost his mum to ovarian cancer a few years ago. It was Cancer with a capital 'C'. The one you have nightmares about when it is an excruciatingly slow time as you see someone so close to you fade away as they go through the aggressive treatment to battle it.

Since then Brother S has donated generously to my Frocktober efforts. But this year Sister S has taken up the challenge and was in fact the one who prompted me to do it again.

A few of her frocks
Sister S is not shy of trying something new and appears very confident in whatever she throws on. Her favourites are concert tops with high-waisted skirts.

Working in a hospital, she has a uniform she normally wears and is finding it pretty tough to get up early and find work-appropriate clothing. The bane of the Frocktober challenge.

But she's frocked on and kept her regular donations to the blood bank, her party life and dog beach outings with her small horse - Toby the Great Dane.

She does need encouraging though... so head on over to our fundraising page and give her some encouragement to show it is all worthwhile: https://frocktober.everydayhero.com/au/two-chicks-and-a-baby
